| Go to VFO mode (Frequency mode), Push "menu"
key and scroll through menu settings by using the uo or down arrow keys.
Press "Menu" again and scroll to the setting you want, press "Menu" again to save. To clean all memories, use #41 (reset) Set squelch level #0 ( they recommend 5), #7 TDR (Dual watch) to on. #14 (voice) to English, #21 and #22 (channel mode) to frequency. The above settings only need to be set once. You do not need to set offset or frequency shift. In VFO mode, enter the receive frequency, press "Menu" and set #13 (transmit ctcss), then #27 (memory channel). Select an empty memory and press "Menu" again to confirm, then press "Exit" and enter transmit frequency, Press "Menu", #27, "Menu" and exit. Repeat for other channels.
