No label (military) bugs (11 located in collections):

EBAY Std Radio: two views, (early) pinned lever, early binding nuts, black (non-original) base.
Now looks as below, finish restored to original by KT5X in 2007, owned by G0RDO…

Smooth finish, pin-stripes, slotted posts, crowned binding nuts

Leatherette finish, pin-stripes, regular posts and binding nuts

Smooth black finish, pin-stripes, slotted posts, regular bind-post nuts.

NE9H Dave: red base (repainted by Gil), slotted posts, regular binding-post nuts.

Russ WA5Y: nickel base, slotted posts, regular binding-post nuts, non-original weight.

Willer: bright red (not original), slotted posts, regular binding-post nuts, two weights.

Fred KT5X: was (rusted) green (military issue), restored maroon with pin-stripes, slotted posts, crowned binding-post nuts, one weight.

Mike N4FS: black, pin-stripes faded, split posts, earliest binding nuts, pinned lever.

Green base with pin-stripes, homemade replacement label says, National Radio (in error), slotted posts, regular binding-post nuts, two weights.

N6MM, Harvey: original maroon base with gold pin-stripes, Vibroplex screws and locknuts

 

Roger’s, K9LJB, early version, military, refinished base.

Gil’s #1551: green base with pin-stripes, slotted posts, crowned binding-post nuts, two small weights.

Gil’s # 1517: nickel base, slotted posts, regular bind-post nuts, one weight, Vibroplex screws and locknuts, old style pinned lever, lowest documented serial number

#1521: black with pin-stripes,  regular posts, regular bind-post nuts, two weights.

N4EKV # 1520: replated nickel base, slotted posts, regular binding-post nuts, one weight, Vibroplex screws and locknuts, old style pinned lever.

K2UVV # 1599: green base with pin-stripes, regular posts, regular bind-post nuts, slotted adjustment screws, two weights, highest documented serial number
